It is really worth calling in even with a few euro in your pocket ..will always find somenthing interesting there. I would recommend it especially to those who look for interesting pieces of furniture and other things with some character.

Just bought two amazing pieces in Mullingar Salesroom! Found a pine bookcase with beautiful detail and a hall table! Saving up for my next buy already!! Definately worth a look, especially for any young ppl just moving into a new home!

Mullingar Art Centre would like to thank Mick Lynn and his crew for all the help and support in helping us put together some of the most amazing props for our theatre performances.  The first time I called to Mullingar Auction Rooms was in February 2010 when we were putting on the Student Players performance of the musical “Beauty & the Beast” at Mullingar Art Centre.  Here we created a stage effect which was every bit as good as the standard you would see on the West End.  It was enhanced by wonderful paintwork by the artist Neil Selby.   Mullingar Auction Rooms contributed many pieces of furniture and curio to help make the stage become a truly mystical place.  We have since used Mullingar Auction rooms to supply furnishings for many of our plays which have been performed both locally and nationally, these include ‘When We Are Married’, ‘Plaza Suite’, ‘The Angry Jury’, ‘Shakers’ to name but a few.   The vast collection of antiques and curio makes it any Theatre Director’s dream to browse through.  We wish Mick every success in bringing Mullingar Auction Rooms forward as not only an auction room, but also as a necessity for anyone wishing to put together a theatrical performance and would recommend to theatre companies to check it out  -  You’d be amazed what you might find there.
